2023 Classic Lectures in Stroke Imaging
About This CME Teaching Activity
This CME activity brings together current imaging strategies for cerebrovascular emergencies. This activity reviews the epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of acute stroke. Faculty provide tips on incorporating the latest imaging techniques used to diagnose and interventional procedures used to treat acute stroke and intracranial hemorrhage.
Target Audience
This course is designed for practicing radiologists, neurointerventionalists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and emergency department physicians who interpret or rely on imaging studies to evaluate cerebrovascular disorders.
Educational Objectives
After this CME teaching activity, you should be able to:
- Discuss updates in stroke and cerebrovascular disease diagnosis and management including acute stroke and cerebral aneurysm.
- Utilize state-of-the-art stroke imaging protocols to assess acute stroke to clinical practice.
- Describe the role of radiology in assessing and treating acute stroke and cerebral aneurysm.
- Compare the use of surgical management and vascular intervention in the management of intracerebral hemorrhage.
